Akshay Kumar Outs Ranveer Singh’s Secret, Reveals He Wears Lipstick, At Sooryavanshi Trailer Launch

Yesterday, the country saw the grand launch of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi trailer. Actors Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh were present the trailer.

Many jokes were cracked and some secrets too were revealed. Well, Ajay Devgn was the first to be called on the podium to address the media. He walked up on to the stage and looked down. On the front row seated were producer Karan Johar, director Rohit Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh. Meanwhile, Ranveer took out a lipstick from his bag and was applying it surreptitiously on the lips. Ajay looked down and, on the mic, he exclaimed, “Yeh Kya Kar Raha Hai? Ranveer Tu Lipstick Lagaa Raha Hai?” (What is he doing? Ranveer are you applying lipstick?). Everyone present in the auditorium burst out in laughter. Ranveer was then called on to the stage and even though he tried to hide his embarrassment with his weird antics onstage, it was kind of coming out all the more. Because the more one tries to hide something, the more does it surface. And that is what was happening with Ranveer yesterday! Thereafter, Akshay Kumar was called on to the stage. We all know how Akshay is and he doesn’t quite shy away from pulling the legs of his co-stars. He made it a point to bring up everything that Ranveer Singh had left on his chair before going on to the podium.

Amongst everything else, the things that caught the attention of all and sundry were the lipstick in question and the tooth whitening powder. Yes, that’s right. Akshay made it a point to reveal it to the media. He showed everything that Ranveer was carrying along with him. He said, Ranveer applies this lipstick and he also applies a tooth whitening powder to put up a façade that his lips are red and his teeth are sparkly white which in reality they are not.

Well, this left Ranveer Singh very embarrassed and he didn’t know what to say. He was seen fumbling on the stage and desperately trying to hide his embarrassment.

While Akshay Kumar was absolutely on time for the trailer launch event, Ranveer was more than an hour late. It was Akshay’s way of getting back at Singh albeit in a funny manner. However, in the process, all of Ranveer’s secrets were brought out into the open.
