Akshay Kumar Surprises Fans By Announcing His Next Ram Setu On Diwali, Calls It A 'Mammoth Task'

Akshay Kumar has given his fans a truly unexpected surprise by announcing another film. We have to say that a Diwali announcement was befitting for this big project titled Ram Setu that the actor will take on next. The poster of the film was shared by the actor where we can see intriguing his first look from the movie.

Wishing his fans on Diwali, Akshay used the opportunity to announce the film and wrote, “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead,here is our humble attempt - #RamSetu Wishing you & yours a very Happy Deepawali!”

Now that give us a fair idea what one can expect from Ram Setu a film. ‘Ram Setu, myth or reality?’ asks the poster, hinting that the film will focus on the aspect of Ramayan where Lord Ram and his vanar sena built a bridge in the sea Lanka. There has been ample debate about the actual existence of the bridge time and again.

The film will be helmed by Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari filmmaker Abhishek Sharma and is being produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra. Ram Setu began trending within minutes as the fans welcome this big announcement.
