Akshay Kumar To Resume Ram Setu Shoot In June; Details Of Nushrratt And Jacqueline’s Roles Revealed

Akshay Kumar began shooting for his upcoming film Ram Setu on 30^th March with his beautiful co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. He revealed his first look and the team shared many fun behind the scene snaps on social media. Sadly, just a few days later the shoot came to an abrupt halt when the Khiladi of Bollywood contracted coronavirus and was hospitalized. Nushrratt and Jacqueline, on the other hand, tested negative. Well, latest buzz now suggests that the team will resume shooting for the film in June.

According to a report shared by Dainik Bhaskar, Akshay has completely recovered and is all set to resume work. He has been in touch with the team since the last one month and a set featuring caves has been constructed in Film City, Mumbai. The shoot will most probably begin around 20^th June in the city and the cast and crew members will later travel to Sri Lanka in September-October. Along with heavy VFX and animation, the much awaited project will also see the actors performing underwater sequences.

While Akshay had earlier revealed that he is playing the role of an archaeologist in the film, details of Nushrratt and Jacqueline’s characters were kept under wraps. Well, the latest report reveals that Nushrratt will be portraying Akshay’s on-screen wife whereas Jacqueline will be seen as his team member who assists him in mission Ram Setu. Now this has definitely piqued our interest!
