Alia Bhatt And Kartik Aaryan To Share The Screen In Sharan Sharma’s Next?

Back in 2019 it was announced that Kartik Aaryan has been roped in to share the big screen with Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biographical crime film Gangubai Kathiawadi. However, it was later reported that things did not work out between the actor and the filmmaker. In the end, Shantanu Maheshwari bagged the role opposite Alia. Fans were heartbroken because they missed a chance to see two of the most popular actors together. But there’s some good news for Alia and Kartik’s fans. The two are reportedly in talks with filmmaker Sharan Sharma for his next project.

The director, who made his debut with Janhvi Kapoor starrer Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, is currently locking the final script of the project. In a report shared by Pinkvilla, a source was quoted saying, “Alia Bhatt and Kartik Aaryan are on top of Sharan’s wishlist. He has had a preliminary meeting with them for the film. However he is presently in the stage of locking the final script, after which he’ll have a few more meetings with the actors. The film is expected to roll by the end of the year.”

Well this definitely is great news! Meanwhile, Alia is busy gearing up for Brahmāstra and RRR, whereas Kartik has an exciting line up of films including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Dostana 2, Dhamaka, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2, Luka Chuppi Phir Se and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3.
