Alia Bhatt Is Not A Part Of Resul Pookutty's Film Piharwa? Read Details...

Alia Bhatt has several projects lined up for her. The actress has been finishing films one after the other ever since shoot resumed after the lockdown. There had also been news that she would play the lead in Resul Pookutty's directorial debut, Piharwa. But now, the latest reports are suggesting something else. 

According to Bollywood Hungama, Alia was never a part of the film. Yes, she had been approached for it; but given her busy schedule, she had to turn it down. A source told the portal, “Resul did ask Alia about this project. But she turned it down without a second thought. Ek toh Resul is not directing it. One of his assistants is. If Resul had been directing it, Alia may have considered it. Right now, Alia is too consumed by her three films on the floor to get into a project she isn’t fully convinced about. She is struggling to complete her three films on the floor and not signing anything new until she sorts out the dates issues among Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Rajamouli’s RR and Ayan Mukerjee’s Brahmastra.”

Whoa, does that mean all the reports that had been doing the rounds for the past few days had been completely untrue? It was also being said that Piharwa would mark the Bollywood debut of TV's heartthrob Parth Samthaan who was last seen as Anurag Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. We wonder what's going on!
