Alia Bhatt has her hands full in projects on every kind. While she will turn into a prostitute turned gangster for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, she will go back to the Mughal Era for Takht and will go to the future along with Ranbir Kapoor in Brahmastra. Now it looks like the actress has given her nod to yet another project and this time it will be a social drama laced with humour.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Saket Chhaudhary’s next. Saket rose to fame as the director of Hindi Medium. A source close to the development of the film was quoted saying, “Saket has been working on the script for a while now. He was keen on casting Alia, who liked the script and has given her nod. She is expected to sign on the dotted line shortly. Meanwhile, hunt for the leading man is still on. The team will finalise the shooting schedule once the entire cast is locked. Saket has also begun initial recce for appropriate locations.”
