Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi Starrer Chehre To Pushed Forward Owing To Night Curfew In Maharashtra?

Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi’s debut collaboration Chehre is one of the first films lined up for release in the month of April. With the Covid-19 situation once again worsening in Maharashtra, a night curfew has been imposed in the state and that does take its toll on the Bollywood business.

While the filmy business just got back on its feet in March, the second wave of Covid has already begun showing its impact on Bollywood. Producers are already beginning to push releases lined up in the near future and speculations are rife about Chehre makers planning to do the same.

With the teaser and trailer of Chehre already out and much curiosity around the film especially owing to Rhea Chakraborty, it would be a wasted opportunity. Commenting on the postponement plans Chehre producer Anand Pandit tells Spotboye, “We will talk to all concerned stakeholders once the Holi festival is done and take a conscious call in the interest of fans and cinema-goers.”

Films like Rana Daggubati starrer Haathi Mere Saathi and Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari, Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2, have been pushed forward indefinitely. Parineeti Chopra’s Saina on the other hand is also facing the burnt of the night curfew.

Apart from Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, Chehre also stars Krystle D'souza, Siddhant Kapoor, Raghuvir Yadav and others.
