The actor has a long list of projects at hand but since the actor has been recommended to take time off and rest he even skipped the inauguration of the Kolkata International Film Festival which he had committed to and visits every year. The superstar who was also admitted to the hospital for a few days wrote in a recent post, “the left overs of incidents from the times of DON and the cracks and breaks now playing up .. and placing themselves in important avenues which restrict movement .. at times of this it may be of interest too .. to the body , but not the mind ..”

Latest reports claim that after he completes work for Nagraj Manjule’s film Jhund which is due to release in December, Big B will take a long sabbatical and all his other work commitnets will have to wait. A source was quoted by Bollywood Hungama to say, “Right now, it is imperative that he take a long-ish break. He is physically exhausted; his body needs rest, repair, and healing”.

The source also said that his family this time is ensuring that he doesn’t cast aside the medical advice and takes rest. “Wife Jaya, daughter Shweta and son Abhishek have made it very clear to Bachchan Saab that this time he must take the medical advice seriously. He has been seriously advised to take time off on several occasions in recent years. Each time he has disregarded the warning and continued to work. Not this time. The family will make sure he takes time off for rest,” the report added the source saying.

Among his projects are Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bramhastra, Gulabo Sitabo with Ayushmann Khurrana, Chehre with Emraan Hashmi and the ongoing season of KBC 11.
