Ananya Panday Says She's 'Not Very Good' At Household Chores, Reveals She Was Banned From Doing It During The Lockdown

The Covid-19 induced lockdown forced even the most popular Bollywood stars this year into doing household chores. With pictures and videos flooding social media when the lockdown was imposed of star brooming, cleaning, cooking, and other mundane household activities it proved to be a revelation for many fans and followers. Ananya Panday however wasn’t among one of the celebrities to post such pictures and stories and she now reveals why.

The Khaali Peeli actress in an interview has revealed that she had nothing to such activities mostly because her family members did not trust her with such tasks. Talking to IANS Ananya frankly confessed, "I think I am banned from doing house work. I don't think anyone in my family would appreciate it if I did any house work because I am not very good at it.”

Though not being good at these things didn’t really mean that Ananya didn’t try to help out, "I tried a little bit of everything, like I helped my sister in cooking. She didn't allow me to do it, but I cleaned my closet. I kept my room really neat and clean. I guess that counts. I decorated my Christmas tree with my sister," she told the publication.

Apart from this, Ananya spent her fair share of free time catching up on shows on OTT. The actress said she enjoyed the time she got to spend with family.

With The New Year ahead of us now, the actress was on Wednesday morning seen heading off to the Maldives with Khaali Peeli co-star Ishaan Khatter for a quick getaway.
