Ananya Panday's Dad Chunky Pandey Clears Off Rumors Regarding Her Fake Admission, Says, "She Kept Quiet For Long"

In June 2019, Ananya was accused of faking an admission to the University of Southern California. When a person claiming to be her ex- schoolmate and blamed her for faking her admission.  After many allegations, Ananya broke her silence and clarified all such rumors through her social media account.

She clearly said that she didn't feel like proving herself but had no option but to do otherwise. The SOTY 2 actress shut down all such rumors by posting pictures of her admission certificates to USC  In a recent interview, her father Chunky Panday talked about the incident and said that it was quite a disturbing phase for Ananya.

He revealed to Pinkvilla in an interview, "Ananya was a little shaken when the entire fake certificate fiasco happened and that he asked her to open up or else she will be misconstrued forever. Well, when the college incident of hers happened, she took it well but somewhere she was shaken also. That's when I told her that she needs to speak about it and not stay quiet for too long. She kept quiet for long. But I told her she is perhaps the only one who has the chance to clarify. "

Nowadays, Chunky Panday has taken a shift from comedy to negative roles in movies. The actor has also been praised for his performance on screen. After Saaho, he will seen portraying a grey character in Prasthanam.
