Angrezi Medium: Irrfan Shares An Emotional Message Ahead Of The Trailer Release; Asks Fans To Wait For Him

The incredibly talented Irrfan Khan is undoubtedly one of the most adored and sought-after actors in Bollywood. Back in 2018, the actor had revealed that he is battling with a rare type of cancer. After spending a year in London getting treated, he returned home on April 3^rd 2019 and much to our delight, will soon be seen on the silver screen in the much awaited comedy drama Angrezi Medium.

However, Irrfan will not be able to promote the film as he is still recovering. But that did not stop him from connecting with his fans. The actor shared a heartfelt, emotional video today stating that he’s with us but still not with us. He reveals that he wanted to promote the film lovingly with the entire team, but sadly he will not be able to do so because some unwanted guests are residing in his body and he is having a conversation with them. Irrfan also assures that he will keep updating his fans and in the end says, “Wait for me.” The last sentence is sure to leave you with tears in your eyes.

In the short clip, the actor also revealed that the trailer will be out tomorrow. Directed by Homi Adajania and produced under the production banner Maddock Films, Angrezi Medium is the spin-off to the 2017 comedy Hindi Medium. Also featuring Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, it is slated to hit theatres on 20^th March. We are extremely excited to have Irrfan back and wish him a speedy recovery. We are eagerly waiting!
