Anupam Kher records his 'funnily heartbreaking' encounter with a man in Himachal who had no who he is, calls it a 'reality check'

Anupam Kher recently paid his home state Himachal Pradesh a visit. While the veteran actor will certainly be used to hundreds of fans recognizing him from a mile away after so many years in the industry, what he wasn’t prepared for was to meet a kind stranger who had no idea and who he was.

The actor who has been recognized for his work in both Bollywood and Hollywood recorded this encounter which gave him a reality check. Anupam called the hilarious meeting ‘funnily heartbreaking’ which helped him keep grounded.

Sharing the video with the man who had no clue as to who he was, Anupam wrote, "Reality Check, I always proudly announce to the world that I have done 518 films. And I presume that everybody (at least in India) knows me. But #GyanChand ji very innocently shattered my confidence. He had no idea who I was. It was funnily heartbreaking and yet beautifully refreshing! Thank you my friend for helping me keep my feet on ground! #KuchBhiHoDSaktaHai #LifeIsBeautiful #Innocence #Hilarious."

The actor had visited Shimla, his hometown, recently with his mother Dulari and relived several memories he had of the city including visiting his old school, meeting childhood friends and shared it all with his fans on social media.
