Anurag Kashyap answers awkward questions from daughter Aaliyah, recalls how she drunk dialed him from cupboard

Anurag Kashyap sat down with daughter Aaliyah Kashyap to answer some awkward questions in her recent Father’s Day special vlog on Youtube. The Gangs of Wasseypur filmmaker was asked several questions on subjects like premarital sex, teen pregnancies, smoking and drinking habits, boyfriends and more.

The filmmaker did leave many viewers of the video impressed with his progressive thinking as he batted all questions with calm and logic. Anurag was asked by Aaliyah what his reaction would be if she told him she was into girls and he simply shrugged indicting he’d be totally fine with it.

 Asked if she told she was pregnant, the filmmaker calmly replied, “ I’ll ask you, ‘are you sure you want this?’ and whatever you choose to do I’ll go with it.” Quizzed if he’ll accept the baby, he simply said, “Whatever choices you make I will accept it, I would absolutely tell you there is a price to pay for it but you know but at the end of it I’ll still be there.”

He was also asked by his daughter his opinion about her boyfriend Shane who has been staying with Aaliyah in Anurag’s home. “I like Shane, I like your choice in friends and your choice in boys generally, Shane is very good.”

“He’s very spiritual, very calm. He has a lot of qualities that men in their 40’s don’t have in terms of being there in difficult situations,” Anurag added.

Asked what his reaction would be if Aaliyah drunk dialed him, he revealed “You have done that a lot,” adding, “You have dialed me from inside a cupboard and talked to me, at a party you have made me say hi to all your friends and talk to everyone and made everyone say dialogues from Gangs of Wasseypur.”

Aaliyah added that her dad was really fun to talk to when she’s drunk.

The filmmaker gave several more progressive responses to queries like sex before marriage, Aaliyah view porn, smoking weed among other things and had the comments section of the video ringing with praises for him.
