Anurag Kashyap Responds To Birthday Trend Calling Him 'Charsi', Says, 'Kaash Ki Hosh Mein Bhi Itna Hi Pyaar Mile'

Anurag Kashyap never shies away from sharing his honest opinions on Twitter, especially when facing the wrath of trolls. On his birthday today trolls were especially mean to him while trending #HappyBirthdayCharsiAnurag but the Bombay Velvet filmmaker has a perfect response to this trend as well.

The filmmaker who turned 48 today in tweet responded to all the ‘charsi pyaar’ he’s getting today and wrote, “kaash ki hosh mein bhi itna hi pyaar mile aap sabse”.

Anurag who recently showed support to Rhea Chakraborty through his tweets after she was arrested by the NCB for having drug links and also shared screenshots of his chats with Sushant’s manager from earlier in May and June where he can be seen calling the deceased actor ‘too problematic’ in the exchange.

By sharing the chat Anurag was trying to prove a point stating “It will show you things if you want to see. It feels horrible to do this but can’t keep it back.”

The filmmaker’s reason for having issues with the actor dated back to a time when Sushant ghosted him and he had to shelve a film because of it.

The filmmaker has since been facing the wrath of the netizens, again, especially from the fans who already feel that Bollywood isolated the late actor.
