The audiences have been excitedly waiting for Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh starrer cross-border comedy. The fact that it would also have John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari just made it even more interesting. The shoot for the film was to resume last month, but it was delayed after lead actor Arjun Kapoor tested positive for the virus. It resumed early in October, but the lead actress Rakul Preet was missing from the sets. Now, she would be uniting with co-star Arjun tomorrow as the film starts the next schedule.

According to a report in Mirror, the film's shoot would resume tomorrow, i.e., on the 24th of October with both Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh. Rakul was in Hyderabad to shoot for another film and will return to Mumbai today.

The film has been tentatively titled Sardaar and Grandsons. It will date back from the era of Partition, when John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari would e separated. Their love-story would find a closure with Arjun and Rakul's characters and love story. Kanwaljeet Singh and Neena Gupta will play the older versions of John and Aditi. The film is being directed by Kashavie Nair and would release in 2021.
