News about Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh's next cross-border love story has been doing the rounds for quite some time. It was being shot in full swing when the pandemic and the lockdown had brought a halt to it. When the shoot was finally about to resume, it hit another roadblock when Arjun Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19. But then, the shoot finally began and was also wrapped up just some weeks back. The film is in the post-production stage and we might be able to see the film sooner than we thought.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers of the film are considering releasing the film on OTT. In fact, it is being said that it will stream on an OTT platform in January. The report mentions that it seems more viable to recover the budget of the film if it releases on OTT since theatres have only 50% capacity now with limited footfalls. With OTT and a fixed amount being given to the makers, it would be easier to recover the cost than take the risk of theatrical release.

Well, we just want to watch the film soon. Sardar and Grandson will also have cameos by John Abraham, who is also producing the film, and Aditi Rao Hydari.
