Arjun Rampal And Mehr Jessia Granted Divorce By Mutual Consent Six Months After Approaching The Court!

Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jessia had been one of the IT couples of Bollywood. The two good-looking celebs had been married for twenty long decades. However, they decided to separate and now, six months after approaching the court, they have been granted divorce by mutual consent. Principal judge Shailaja Sawant granted the duo divorce under the Special marriage act. It was granted at Bandra family court and as of now, the couple’s daughters would reside with their mother at their Bandra duplex.

An official at the Bandra family court told Mumbai Mirror, "After a petition for divorce by mutual consent is filed, their plea is scrutinised, registered and then, the couple is referred to a marriage counsellor to attempt a reconciliation. If that fails, the couple is given six more months to work things out. Six months later, if they are resolute in their decision to part ways and have complied with the terms of divorce mutually agreed to between them, a court draws up a decree of divorce."

The couple had gotten married in 1998 and their marriage hit a rough patch in 2011. They had approached the court in April, 2019. Meanwhile, Arjun is currently in a relationship with Gabriella Demetriades and the couple had a baby few months back. Mehr, on the other hand, decided to keep her personal life private.
