Arjun Rampal Can Be Summoned By NCB Again, Yet To Get A Clean Chit As Agency Finds Discrepancies In Statements

Arjun Rampal who recently made his second appearance at the Narcotic Control Bureau zonal office on Monday. The actor who was summoned for a second time after a raid was conducted at his place last month apparently is still to get the clean chit from the agency after they found discrepancies in his statements.

NCB Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede commented on the ongoing probe against Nail Polish actor and told Times Of India, "We have found a discrepancy in the statements given to us and therefore examining it. And if the need arises we will call him again."

Arjun Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades were questioned by the NCB last month after they seized a few gadgets and a restricted medicinal drug under the NDPS Act, from their home. The actor was then asked to furnish a prescription for the medicine.

Commenting on the drug probe against him Arjun had then told the press while exiting the NCB office, "I have nothing to do with drugs. I have prescription for the medicine which was found at my residence and the prescription has been handed over to NCB officials. I am cooperating with the investigation and the NCB officials are doing a good job."
