Arjun Rampal- Konkona Sensharma To Come Together For A Social Drama Titled 'The Rapist', Project To Go On Floors In March?

Arjun Rampal and Konkona Sensharma are two of the finest actors of contemporary times. Imagine if they come together for a project, how beautiful it might turn out to be. Well, it might become a reality soon, as the two would reportedly be collaborating for a social drama.

If a report in Peepingmoon is to be believed, then the stars, who had earlier shared screen for a 2013 indie film Meridian Lines, is all set to come together for a social drama. It is reportedly titled 'The Rapist' and would revolve around an incident of rape. A source quoted by the portal said, "The Rapist is a hard-hitting drama that examines how much of society is responsible for producing rapists. It's about the victim's trauma, the circumstances, and how a woman deals with it. The pre-production has already started and will get off the ground officially in March." It would be directed by none other than filmmaker Aparna Sen, who also happens to be Konkona's mother.
