Deepika will appear before NCB tomorrow. Having said that, as per a report by Times Now, Mumbai Police has been instructed to extend additional security at the NCB office tomorrow during her visit.

Mumbai Police has been asked to make strict arrangements ahead of the actor’s visit tomorrow. Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that Deepika, who was in Goa for the shoot of her upcoming film with director Shakun Batra, is expected to leave for Mumbai in the afternoon today at 1:30 via a chartered plane. Deepika's manager Karishma Prakash was also summoned along with the actress by the NCB after their chats from 2017 surfaced while questioning Jaya Saha. In the alleged chats, Deepika was seen talking about 'maal, weed and hash' with her manager. Based on this, reportedly, Deepika was called in for interrogation.

Meanwhile, apart from Deepika, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakul Preet Singh also have been summoned by the NCB for interrogation. Designer Simone Khambatta was called for a probe today at the NCB office after her alleged drug chats with Rhea Chakraborty surfaced.

Apart from this, Shruti Modi was also called for interrogation by the NCB after her alleged name came up in the drug nexus. Earlier in the day, it was reported that Rakul Preet Singh did not get any summons from NCB, and hence, she is unlikely to show up today at the NCB office. However, an NCB official stated that Rakul Preet Singh has confirmed that she has received a summon from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and will appear on September 25.
