    Ashwatthama: Vicky Kaushal Starrer To Go On Floors In June, Might Be Shot In Hungary And Iceland

    Vicky Kaushal has films after films lined up to be shot. The actor is currently busy shooting for Vijay Krishna Acharya's next with Manushi Chillar. But the one project that we are looking forward to is The Immortal Ashwatthama, for which he is reuniting with Uri: The Surgical Strike's director, Aditya Dhar. Now, we have some information about its release date.

    A report in Pinkvilla has stated that the film is all set to go on floors by June this year. A source told the portal, “The film is scheduled to be shot between June 2021 and December 2021. Earlier the makers had plans to film in the UK, but owing to the present COVID-19 situation they are now looking at Hungary and Iceland. Aditya and his team will head for a recce in April depending on the situation in these countries.”

    Whoa, that just means we would get to see it super soon as well. This one would be a VFX heavy film and Vicky would be undergoing a physical transformation for this one. The source added, “He will be training in archery, sword-fighting, spear-fighting and martial arts. Besides Ashwatthama, the film will also feature a couple of more characters from Mahabharata, casting for which is presently underway.” He would begin training in February.

    Apart from Ashwatthama and the comedy film alongside Manushi Chillar, Vicky would be seen in Sardar Udham Singh and Sam Maneckshaw's biopic.
