Ayushmann Khurrana To Reunite With Article 15 Director Anubhav Sinha For A Spy Film; Deets Inside

The last three years have proven to be very successful in Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bollywood career. He appeared in one award winning film after another and also made sure that he portrayed different characters to successfully test his versatility. One of his most loved projects was Anubhav Sinha’s Article 15. The crime drama thriller featured Ayushmann in a serious cop role for the very first time and left fans in awe. Well much to our delight, the actor-director duo is now reuniting for their next collaboration!

That’s right. Ayushmann recently returned to Mumbai and is now busy prepping for Anubhav’s next. A report in Bollywood Hungama revealed that the yet to be titled film will go on floors in the third week of January and the story will revolve around caste-based crime and discrimination. But this time Ayushmann will shine on the big screen as a spy, set in North East India. Written by Khaali Peeli writers Yash Keswani and Sima Agarwal, the film is reportedly based on true events.

Just last month, the superstar finished shooting for Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, co-starring Vaani Kapoor, in his hometown Chandigarh. He also announced another new project titled Doctor G, which will be helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap and Junglee Pictures. He is definitely on a roll and we couldn’t be happier!
