Bachchan Pandey: Abhimanyu Singh To Lock Horns With Akshay Kumar Again After Sooryavanshi, Joins Cast As The Antagonist

The shoot of Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey is in full swing in Rajasthan. The cast and the crew had arrived in Jodhpur around a month back and has begun the shoot. They have also shared glimpses of the fun they are having during the shoot. Now, another celeb has joined the cast.

It is none other than Abhimanyu Singh. Abhimanyu, who has been seen in films like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela, Rakta Charitra, Lakshya, Mom among others would be playing the baddie in the film. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the news on his social media. Have a look here:

Interestingly, this is the third time that Abhimanyu would share screen space with Akshay Kumar. He was seen in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara and would be playing the antagonist to Akshay's Sooryavanshi in the Rohit Shetty cop film. Bachchan Pandey also stars Kriti Sanon as the leading lady, besides Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi. The film is being directed by Farhad Samji and would be releasing in theatres on Republic Day 2022. Akshay Kumar will play a gangster aspiring to be an actor and Kriti would play a journalist who wants to be a director!
