Bachchan Pandey: Arshad Warsi Joins Cast As Akshay Kumar's Friend In The Film

The shoot of Bachchan Pandey is all set to roll very shortly and director Fahad Samji along with his team are already doing a recee in Jaisalmer. While Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon will be playing the lead, another actor has now joined the cast of the film. It's none other than Arshad Warsi.

A report in Mirror said that Arshad Warsi has been roped in to play Akshay Kumar's friend in the film. A source said, “The makers were looking for someone who could match Akshay’s comic timing and they found him in Munnabhai’s Circuit, who, over the year has aced this space. It’s a first time pairing for the actors.” He also added that Arshad Warsi's role would be integral to the plot.

The film would have Akshay playing a gangster who wants to be an actor, His path will cross with Kriti Sanon's, who will play a journalist looking forward to be a director. Akshay and Arshad will be sharing the screen for the first time in this film and that is enough to get us so excited. The shooting would probably begin by January after Akshay wraps up Prithviraj.
