Bachchan Pandey: Arshad Warsi Opens Up On Finally Working With Akshay; Says ‘People Are Going To Love This’

Akshay Kumar’s much awaited film Bachchan Pandey has been making headlines since the past few weeks. It was first revealed that Kriti Sanon will be playing the role of a director in the film. Then makers welcomed the gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez on board. Well recently it was reported that Arshad Warsi has also been roped in to play an important role in the Farhad Samji film! This will be the first time that Arshad and Akshay share the big screen and fans are ecstatic to see them together.

In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Arshad shared his excitement about working with Akki. He shared, “Oh very! Very! You have no idea. I'm a huge fan of Akshay's. He's an outstanding actor. He's so good. His energy level and his madness and a terrific sense of humour. Many a time when we bumped into each other and he's always said 'Yaar, ek picture karte hain saath mein.' But it never happened. We never managed to get the right script. And finally, this [Bachchan Pandey] has come. It's going to be good fun. People are going to love this. They're really going to like this film.”

Talking about the script, Arshad revealed that it’s going to be a good ride and the film is a total package. Arshad and Akshay’s characters are insane and while some scenes will leave the audience in splits, others will make them emotional. However, the most exciting piece of news that Arshad shared is that fans will get to see him in action sequences! Well, we are looking forward to it.
