Jacqueline Fernadez is a part of Akshay Kumar starrer and the actress started shooting for the film in Jaisalmer just a few days back. She joined the sets right after leading lady Kriti Sanon wrapped her part. Now, details about her character in the film are out.

Jacqueline would only have a cameo in the project is a fact known to everyone. Now, we have learnt that she will play Akshay Kumar's former love interest. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Jacqueline is a part of flashback scenes in Bachchan Pandey, romancing Akshay’s character in his younger days. While Akshay plays a bearded gangster in the present scenes, paired alongside Kriti Sanon, an aspiring director, he romances Jacqueline in his moustache look in the flashback scenes.” 

The source further added that she will shoot for just 7 days and said, “She will be shooting for some key scenes forming the emotional crust of the film, and a romantic song with Akshay in Jaisalmer. The shoot of Bachchan Pandey is expected to wrap up on Feb 28/March 1, followed by some patchwork in Mumbai.”

Bachchan Pandey is being directed by Farhad Samji and will have Akshay play a gangster aspiring to be an actor. Kriti Sanon will play a journalist who wants to be a director.
