Bachchan Pandey: Jacqueline Joins Akshay Kumar-Kriti Sanon’s Gangster Film; Says ‘It's Always A Crazy Ride With Akshay’

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon’s much-awaited film Bachchan Pandey is all set to go on floors in January. It was recently revealed that Kriti will be playing the role of a journalist who aspires to be a filmmaker. Reports also suggest that Akshay is portraying the character of a gangster who wants to become an actor. Well, Akshay’s Housefull co-star Jacqueline Fernandez has now joined the film and is ecstatic to work with the Khiladi of Bollywood yet again.

In a chat with Mumbai Mirror, the beauty shared, “I was very new to the industry when I did the song 'Dhanno' in Housefull for Nadiad (producer Sajid Nadiadwala). Our friendship goes way back to then and I am elated to be working with him again in Bachchan Pandey, our eighth film together.” Jacqueline went on to add, “It's always a crazy ride with Akshay and I am sure we will all have a blast again.” Well, we are stoked to see them together!

Bachchan Pandey is an official remake of the 2014 Tamil film Jigarthanda. While it has been revealed that Kriti is playing the role of a director who meets a dreaded gangster, portrayed by Akshay, as part of her research on a film on gangsterism, details of Jacqueline’s character are under wraps.
