Bala Box-Office Day 1: The Amar Kaushik Film Becomes Ayushmann Khurrana’s Biggest Opener At 10.15 Crores!

Bala Collects 10.15 Crores On Day 1

Bala Box-Office Day 1: The Amar Kaushik Film Becomes Ayushmann Khurrana’s Biggest Opener At 10.15 Crores!

Bala released in theatres yesterday. The film had been embroiled in a controversy ever since the day of its release was pushed to 8th, thanks to Ujda Chaman. Both the films looked quite similar and were about a young man suffering from pre-mature balding. But thanks to brand Ayushmann, and an excellent word-of-mouth on the first day itself, the film has turned out to be the highest opener of Ayushmann’s career.

Bala Box-Office Day 1: The Amar Kaushik Film Becomes Ayushmann Khurrana’s Biggest Opener At 10.15 Crores!

Ayushmann’s Bala made a good 10.15 crores on its opening day, surpassing his last release, Dream Girl’s opening day collection. Dream Girl had opened t0 10.05 crores, just a few lakhs lower than Bala. This is a great number given that Bala is a low to mid budget film. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the same and said that the credit for the good collection can be given to ‘brand’ Ayushmann Khurrana and a good word of mouth.

The Saturday earning might be hampered because of the tense situation of the Ayodhya Verdict, but the evening shows should see a good footfall. Sunday would also prove to be extremely crucial for the film. It is the Saturday-Sunday collection that will determine how much the film would earn in its lifetime. What are your guesses though? Have you seen the film already? Did you like it? Let us know in the comments.
