Bandish Bandits Actor Amit Mistry Dies Due To A Cardiac Arrest; Jacqueline Fernandez, Tisca Chopra & Others Mourn The Loss

Film and TV actor Amit Mistry is no more. He died on Friday morning after suffering a heart attack. Famous for playing Devendra Rathore in Amazon Prime web series, Bandish Bandits, and films like Shor In The City, Kya Kehna, Yamla Pagla Deewana and several others, the actor’s sudden demise has left his colleagues in the industry shocked and grieving.

The Gurajrati actor’s death is being mourned by his colleagues who shared heartfelt condolences on hearing the tragic news of his demise. Tisca Chopra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Aahana Kumra, Swanand Kirkire, Cyrus Sahukar, Sumit Vyas, Kubbra Sait and several others are mourning Amit’s sudden demise.

In a tweet, Swanand Kirkire wrote, “Amit Mistry ? No ...this is unbelievable. He was an amazing Actor and a real happy soul.”

To his post actress, Tisca Chopra replied, “Sh*t. Such a lovely guy, totally chill.. deepest condolences to the family .. RIP #AmitMistry.”

“I've worked with #AmitMistry a couple of times and had the pleasure of seeing how brilliant he was on stage. He will be missed on stage and screen by all of us. Condolences to his family,” wrote actor Ashwin Mushran in a tweet.

Aahana Kumra on Instagram posted a picture of the late actor and wrote, “Gone too soon dost @actoramitmistry. Devastated to hear this… gone too soon… Om shanti.”

Kubbra Sait also uploaded a picture of Amit and wrote, “Your loss will be incomprehensible on earth. Rest in peace dear friend @actoramitmistry.”
