Bappi Lahiri In The ICU After Testing Covid Positive, Singer's Son Shares Update On His Health

Renowned singer and musician Bappi Lahiri was tested positive for Covid-19 and as a precautionary measure admitted to the hospital on Wednesday evening. The update is certainly a big cause of concern for the fans of the Bappida.

The singer was detected to be showing mild symptoms of the vdisease and how his son Bappa Lahiri has shared an update on his father’s health saying that the singer is in the ICU but is stable.

“My father is stable now. But he is in the ICU. He was detected with a mild Covid 19 infection on Wednesday. But the reason for concern is, he already has a pulmonary condition. He is in Breach Candy hospital. We can’t meet him. He is under Dr Udwadia’s supervision. We are relieved that he is getting the best care possible,” told Bollywood Hungama.

Bappida’s son said that the singer’s diagnosis has been tough on the family as he is alone in the ICU and no one is allowed to see him. He expressed concern saying that the veteran singer has never been alone and has always had one member of the family by his side.

Bappi Lahiri had earlier in the month shared a post informing his fans that he had registered for the Covid-19 vaccination and also encouraged others to do so.
