The fact that he is trying a period drama and it is an experiment for him too and if he thought that I could do justice to his character is a very big compliment to me. He is one of my most favourite people. I just adore him and I’m very excited for Takht as the cast is fantastic. There some brilliant minds coming together and I can see what Karan is doing for the film. I’m in awe with his vision.”

According to reports, Bhumi will be portraying the character of Dara Shukoh’s first wife and chief consort.
