Bhushan Kumar Opens Up About Adipurush; Reveals Ranbir’s Film With Luv Ranjan Is ‘A Big Musical With Lots Of Humor’

2021 is an exciting year for Bollywood. While the shoots of much awaited films resumed, many new projects were also announced. Well, two such films which the audiences are eagerly looking forward to are Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush and Luv Ranjan’s next featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Interestingly, both of these films are being co-produced by Bhushan Kumar. Well much to our delight, the producer recently got candid about the upcoming projects.

In a chat with Pinkvilla, Kumar opened up about the huge line up of exciting projects. He shared, “It's not only Adipurush, there are many other films too. Before Animal, we are completing Ranbir Kapoor’s Luv Ranjan film, which is a big one for us too. With Luv Ranjan it's a totally different perspective. You have seen Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and the kind of cinema he gives it’s superb. So that’s a big musical film with lots of humour, and all that kind of twists that Luv Ranjan gives in his movies.”

While each film holds equal importance, the team has a special connect to Adipurush. The producer explained that the reason behind this is that Adipurush is based on Hindu epic Ramayana. Hence, it’s devotional. Well, we are sure fans would agree to that. Directed by Om Raut, the mythological film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh and is expected to hit theatres on 11^th August next year.
