    Bihar IPS Officer Vinay Tiwari Complains Of Incoordination From Mumbai Police, Says, ‘If Need Be We Will Take Rhea Into Custody’

    The Bihar police sent a team of four officials down to Mumbai for detailed investigation into the matter of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. However, since their time of arrival, there have been constant reports about how the Mumbai police are not cooperating with them.

    On 2nd August, ’20 at 3:30 PM, an IPS officer, Vinay Tiwari landed in Mumbai to head the Bihar Team’s investigation of F.I.R. against Rhea Chakraborty and five others. The BMC officials asked him to quarantine himself after his arrival.

    In an interaction with Mid-Day, he opened up about the poor coordination between the Mumbai and the Bihar police, "There is no proper coordination between Mumbai and Bihar police and that is why I have come to Mumbai. I will guide my officers,” he told the publication.

    He went on to state, "We haven't received the case-related documents from Mumbai police yet. We will collect all the documents, including the accidental death report, post-mortem and forensic reports and statements of people interviewed by Mumbai cops."
