Blind: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja Kick-Starts Shoot Of Her Upcoming Crime Thriller In Scotland

After spending most of the lockdown in Delhi with husband Anand Ahuja’s parents and then Mumbai with the Kapoor Khaandan, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja returned to her plush London apartment. The couple is generally shuttling between their three homes but this time all the major holidays were spent in London. Well after her short break, Sonam recently travelled to Glasgow, Scotland where she has started shooting for her next film Blind. Directed by Shome Makhija, Blind is a Hindi remake of the Korean film with the same name.

Sharing the news on social media, Taran Adarsh tweeted: “SONAM KAPOOR: CRIME THRILLER STARTS TODAY... Start-to-finish shooting of #Blind - starring #SonamKapoorAhuja - commences today in #Glasgow [#Scotland]... Story of a blind police officer in pursuit of a serial killer... Costars #VinayPathak, #PurabKohli and #LilleteDubey.” He went on to add, “#Blind is directed by Shome Makhija... Produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Manisha W, Pinkesh Nahar, Sachin Nahar and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim... 2021 release.”

Sonam was last seen in The Zoya Factor, opposite South superstar Dulquer Salmaan, after which she played a surprise cameo in her father Anil Kapoor’s Netflix film AK vs AK. Also starring filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, AK vs AK features a film-within-a-film narrative where the star cast plays fictionalized versions of themselves.
