Bollywood Journalist Monica Mishra To Debut in Bollywood; Deets Inside

There have been a lot many leaps in the previous year, be it in terms of career, in the pay checks of actors or a transition from the television medium to the celluloid. And another big transition is on its way. A young 26-year-old journalist who has interviewed almost all the A-listers of B-Town is now set to make a big leap in her career.

Monica Mishra is a journalist and anchor by profession, who loves to face the camera all the time, she is the face of a reputed Bollywood YouTube channel. The feisty journo achieved a breakthrough in her career when she interviewed south super star Yash. The YouTubers gave her thumbs up and there were a million views on her video. The young lass never quite gave acting a serious thought but this interview got her acclaim and appreciation at the same time. So much so that many of her viewers turned fans advised her to take up acting as a career. Even actor Yash’s fans loved her confidence and egged her to become an actor. That’s when she decided to try it out. She thus gave it a second thought and started to look for opportunities. Being a lucky girl, she didn’t quite have to wait for a long time before she got her first acting break.

Delving a little deeper into the girl she is, we found out, she was born Monica Umanath Mishra in Dadar (a Mumbai suburb) in the year 1993. We also got in touch with her mother who revealed that Monica lost her father in 2015 and since then she has been single-handedly shouldering the responsibility of her family which consists of three children besides Monica (who is the youngest of them all), namely Shraddha, Vinay and Priyanka.

Monica really had a tussle with her family in order to pursue her education. “I had to fight with my family to take up Bachelors In Mass Media during my graduation. All because I wanted to enter the world of showbiz.” Her parents were against this field in its entirety. “It was very difficult for me to convince them but I managed somehow.” She quipped.

After her Masters in communication she got her first job with an entertainment website based in Mumbai. The shoot of her upcoming film will commence in the mid of October and the film is slated for a release in the next year.
