Bunty Aur Babli 2 Cast To Shoot Remaining Portions Of The Film At Yash Raj Film Studios In August

The second instalment Of Bunty Aur Babli featuring Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari in the lead roles is all set to roll out. A major chunk of the movie has been shot before the lockdown was announced, the debutant director Varun V Sharma, is now putting his thoughts beyond of shooting a special number with the main leads in it.

While the shoot was originally supposed to happen outdoors, the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown induced by it, has forced the film-maker to shoot the song at Yash Raj Film Studios, keeping all the shooting guidelines and safety protocols that have been set by the Maharashtra CM in place.

Now, director Varun V Sharma has gone back to the calendar to map out the film's last schedule, which includes filming a special number with the leads. While the song was originally envisioned as an outdoor shoot, it is learned that the makers have now decided to film it at the Yash Raj Film Studios, keeping the safety guidelines in mind.

A source revealed to peepingmoon.com, “The song is one of the highlights of the film. After much deliberation, Varun and producer Aditya Chopra decided that shooting it within the premises, with a minimal crew, would be the best course of action. That way, they will have the advantage of a controlled environment, making it easier to adhere to the guidelines. The track will be shot in August once the permissions are in place," adding that the remaining patchwork shoot will also be conducted in the Andheri studio.
