From being an investigation that delved into the reasons behind the alleged murder of an actor, the Sushant Singh Rajput case has metamorphosed into a Bollywood drug scandal. Now, the nation is interested to know who all are involved in the drug racket.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation is probing the death of the actor and the agency is now seeking a legal opinion on the new FIR filed by Rhea Chakraborty against the sisters of the late actor and a Delhi based doctor at the Bandra police station.

The FIR was lodged against Sushant’s sisters Meetu Singh and Priyanka Singh for administering him illegal drugs and Dr Tarun Khanna from Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital Delhi for issuing a bogus prescription to procure the drugs which would relieve him of his anxiety issues.

A CBI source informed India TV that the agency will soon be taking an immediate decision on the matter. However, there was no official confirmation from the CBI officials. The source further told the channel that the investigating agency is seeking to take an action because the apex court had earlier ruled that all the FIRs will be handed over to the CBI.

Meanwhile, the CBI has questioned a lot of people involved in the high-profile case. Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda have already been arrested by the NCB who is also investigating the case along with the Enforcement Directorate and the CBI.
