CFBC Chairman Prasoon Joshi Comes Out In Support Of Kangana Ranaut; Says, 'She Is Talking About Her Truth'

When it comes to exposing the truth about Bollywood Kangana Ranaut often holds her own and is on the receiving end of a lot of backlash on social media for expressing her views be it about nepotism or now the alleged drug nexus running in the industry. While many from Bollywood might not agree with her Kangana has her own band od supports and looks like Prasoon Joshi is one of them.

Kangana has been quite vocal in expressing her opinion about the consumption of drugs in Bollywood recently, not only this, but the actress has also supported the NCB investigation. As several celebs are against her and are questioning why the Manikarnika actress has not been summoned yet but not the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Chief, Prasoon Joshi, who feels that Kangana is ‘telling the truth’.

In a recent interview with Times Now, the CFBC chairman emphasized the fact that Kangana is right, he also believes that discrediting the film industry, which has given India recognition in world cinema, is wrong, one shouldn't also avoid Kangana's statements.  

He said, "A lot of the things because of the way they are said today, the real essence gets lost. Discrediting the film industry which has actually done wonderful work that's also not right. But what Kangana is coming from, she is talking about her truth. Usko trivialise nahi kiya jaana chahiye."

Kangana has been quite active on social media during the alleged drug probe, she expressed her opinion on every step that the NCB is taking. The actress has also taken a jibe at the actresses including  Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Rakul Preet Singh when The NCB issued them summons for interrogating them after their names came up in the alleged drug nexus.
