Chambal Dacoit Malkhan Singh Warns Akshay Kumar Against Tampering With The Subject of Prithviraj

A few weeks ago on the occasion of his birthday actor Akshay Kumar announced his Diwali 2020 release Prithviraj. This would also en for the first time that the actor will be seen in a historic character. The film is based on the life and times of Prithviraj Chauhan. He was the only ruler who stood against the wrath of Muhhamad Ghori and this made him one of the most prolific warriors of his time.

However, if media reports are to be believed, Chambal’s former dacoit Malkhan Singh has warned the actor against tampering with the originality of the subject of the film. He said that if he found any liberties taken with the script, he will leave no stones unturned to stop the film from releasing! He went to the extent of saying that he would be taking a legal recourse! According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Malkhan Singh wants the film to be shown to someone from the Prithviraj Chauhan’s legacy ahead of its theatrical release. If the makers do not follow this, he said he will take the matter to the court. Malkhan Singh also said that Akshay Kumar should meet him before the shoot begins.

The film is being directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi who had earlier directed the award-winning Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Pinjar. Prithviraj will be produced by Yash Raj Films
