Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui: Gautam Gulati Reveals Why He Isn’t A Part Of The Ayushmann And Vaani Starrer Anymore

Gautam Gulati is currently soaring high on the success of his recently released action entertainer Radhe. Starring Salman Khan, Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda, the film features Gautam as one of the three antagonists. While Salman portrayed the role of an undercover cop, the Bigg Boss 8 winner played the character of a ‘hardcore psycho’. Up next, fans were eagerly waiting to see him shine in Abhishek Kapoor’s Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor.

Ayushmann and Vaani will reportedly be seen as a married couple where the latter is a transgender. Back in November last year, it was reported that Gautam will be playing the role of a third wheel in their relationship. Sadly, the actor has now revealed that he walked out of the film. In a chat with Spotboye, Gautam was quoted saying, “I was going to do that film but the narration of the film was a bit different than what was in the final draft. Abhishek Kapoor is a sweet guy and I was really looking forward to working with him.”

He went on to explain, “But when the final script came to me, there were some things that didn’t seem the same way as I was told earlier in the narration about my character. Earlier I had said yes to do the film just after hearing about my character but after this happened, I spoke to my team, we discussed and ended up not doing the film.”
