Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor are all set to shine together on the silver screen in their much awaited film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, the romantic drama follows the story of a cross-functional athlete who falls in love with a zumba instructor. However, their relationship goes for a toss when he is unable to digest the fact that she is a transgender. In the trailer we saw his reaction, but today the makers dropped a track titled Kalle Kalle which gave us a glimpse of how the two dealt with heartbreak post their break up.

The video begins with Vaani’s dialogue which we also heard in the trailer-- “Tujhe pata hai problem kya hai? Yeh baat naa tu hazam kar paa raha hai na main khatam kar paa rahi hun.” The two then go about their own lives, missing one another but not doing anything about it. While Ayushmann’s character looks angry, Vaani has beautifully portrayed her emotions. She is heartbroken and helpless but at the same time puts on a brave face. The track is upbeat but surprisingly manages to strike a chord like an emotional melody would. The lyrics, on the other hand, are meaningful and will touch your soul.

Helmed by Sachin-Jigar and Priya Saraiya, Kalle Kalle left us wanting more and definitely got us even more excited for Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Vaani and Ayushmann’s chemistry is on-point and makes us wonder why they weren’t cast together sooner! Well, we can’t wait to watch their hatke love story in theatres on 10th December this year. How about you?
