In this video, Meghna Gulzar has talked about the strange dichotomy of the society where we talk of feminism and also put the women at a pedestal with their beauty at a premium. She feels that it is the reason why “taking away the beauty, attacking her with acid, has become a weapon of choice.” She, along with leading lady Deepika Padukone, wanted to challenge the concept of ‘muh-dikhai’.
