One of the most reputed sports academies in our country, Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy celebrated its 25^th anniversary on 1^st February. On this special occasion, Prakash Padukone, Rahul Dravid, Pullella Gopichand and Sunil Chhetri attended the celebration at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence campus. Much to our delight, Prakash Padukone’s daughter and actress Deepika Padukone took to her social media handle to give us a glimpse of the festivities.

The reigning queen of Bollywood also shared throwback pictures of her father along with a heartfelt post, which is sure to melt your heart. Meanwhile on the work front, Deepika is riding high on the success of her latest release Chhapaak. She will now begin gearing up for her next film ‘83, a sports drama narrating Kapil Dev's journey of life as well as how he became the captain of the Indian national cricket team and won the 1983 Cricket World Cup. While her husband Ranveer Singh is playing the role of the legendary cricketer, Deepika will portray the character of his on-screen wife.
