Deepika Padukone To Resume Shoot For Shakun Batra's Next, Will Fly To Goa Today

Deepika Padukone had been all over the headlines from the past few week, and it was niot because of professional reasons. The actress was called back from Goa, where she had been shooting for Shakun Batra's next alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday, by thge NCB about a reported chat between her and her manager leaked. The actress was apparently asking for 'hash not weed' and came under the radar of the bureau. However, she is now going to leave the city again.

According to a report in TOI, the actress will be flying to Goa today to rejoin the shoot of Shakun Batra's next. The report also suggests that in her absence, the team had shot the portions with only Siddhant and Ananya. Now, she would join the shoot and we can expect the film to wrap up soon.

Deepika had taken a chartered flight from Goa to Mumbai after being summoned by the NCB. The was questioned with her manager karishma Prakash and her phone was apparently seized by the bureau for further investigation. Apart from her, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh were also questioned. She had reportedly accepted that the chats were true but added that she never took recreational drugs and it was a fun way of addressing cigerrates.
