Deepika To Have 'Intense Romantic Scenes' With Siddhant Chaturvedi In Karan Johar's Next!

We had reported to you last day that Deepika Padukone is in talks with Karan Johar for Dharma Productions' next film. Deepee loved the script for the film and it was being said that Shakun Batra would direct the film. Well, the official confirmation of the film is already here! What's more - Gully Boy fame Siddhant Chaturvedi has been confirmed opposite the actress.

According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, a source has said that the makers were keen to cast a relatively fresh face opposite the actress. "Shakun wanted to cast a fresh face alongside Deepika and he felt Siddhant fit the bill,” he said. He also added that the two will have some 'intense romantic scenes'! He also claimed that Siddhant's performance in Gully Boy helped him bag the role. There would apparently be two more prominent actors in the film.

Siddhant has three more films in his kitty, one of which would be a comedy. Deepika is all set for Chhapak which will release in Jan 2020. Apart from that, she will be a part of '83 and has reportedly also signed a Hollywood film.Are you excited for this one? Let us know in the comments.
