    Dharma Productions' CEO Apoorva Mehta Questioned By Police, Submits Sushant Singh Rajput's Contract For Drive

    Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is being investigated by the Mumbai Police from all angles. The CEO of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions was the latest in the long list of people to be questioned by the police in the matter.

    Apoorva was questioned at the Amboli police station where arrived close to noon on Tuesday, July 28. Sushant was the lead in Dharma produced film Drive opposite Jacqueline Fernandez. The film was released directly on Netflix after a considerable delay in the theatrical release. Drive was one of the last few projects of the late actor and released in 2019.

    Apoorva also furnished the contract Sushant had signed with Dharma Productions for the film and was questioned for nearly four hours according to reports.

    So far nearly 40 people have been questioned in relation to the actor’s death with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt recording his statement on Monday and Karan Johar also being summoned for questioning next week.

    Karan has been on the receiving end of a lot of flak ever since Sushant died and has been absent from social media since. Reports also suggest four cops from Patna will soon join the ongoing investigation in Mumbai.

    Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14 in his Mumbai apartment. He was 34.
