Dharmendra Tests Negative For COVID-19; Is Looking After His Staff Members Who Contracted The Virus

Ever since the nationwide lockdown was announced in 2020, veteran superstar Dharmendra had been staying at his Lonavala farmhouse. He missed his family but it was the safest place to be amid the pandemic. Last week he finally stepped out and got his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. Sadly, three staff members in the Deol household in Juhu Scheme tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago. By then, Dharamji had returned to Mumbai and had to get tested.

Thankfully the actor’s tests have returned and the results are negative. In a chat with ETimes, the Dharam Veer star shared, “God has been kind to me. I've tested negative. I really don't know what is happening with this second COVID wave which is definitely crazy. The situation has to quickly come under control, else things are really getting out of hand.”

The report also revealed that the staff members of the Deol household who tested positive are currently under isolation. But Dharmendra is looking after them. A source was quoted saying, “The people who have been infected are being well looked after by Dharamji and he has isolated them away from the other family members, separately. He is doing all that it takes to keep families safe.”
