    Dhrishyam Director Nishikant Kamat On Ventilator And Is Fighting For His Life, Says Riteish Deshmukh

    The news of Nishikant Kamat's death has been doing the rounds. However, celebs like Milap Zaveri and Riteish Deshmukh has taken to Twitter to reveal that the director is still fighting for his life and has been put on ventilator support.

    Talking to Twitter, Riteish wrote, "Nishikant Kamat is on ventilator support. He is still alive & fighting. Let’s pray for him."

    Even Milap Milan Zaveri had first told his followers that Kamat is no more. However, he was quick to rectify and said that the director is still fighting for his life. he wrote, "Just spoke to someone who is with Nishikant in the hospital right now. He hasn’t passed away yet. Yes he is v critical and fighting life and death. But he is still alive."

    Others too have confirmed it.

    Nishikant Kamat had been suffering from liver cirrhosis and was admittted to the hospital last week after he was critical. He has been fighting the disease since then. He had been behind some of the popular films like Mumbai Meri Jaan, Madaari, Force and Dhrishyam. He had also acted in films like Rocky Handsome, Julie 2 and Bhavesh Joshi.
