Did Kartik Aaryan Lose Dostana 2 Over His Fallout With Janhvi Kapoor? Read Deets...

It was just at the beginning of the year that rumours of Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor dating each other were doing the rounds all over the internet. The two had even embarked on a vacay to Goa together. Cut to few weeks later, it was said that they were not even on talking terms! And cut to few months later, Kartik was out of Dostana 2, the film that he was dong with Janhvi Kapoor. Needless to say, the thought that Kartik-Jahvi's fallout may be one of the reasons behind this did cross our minds.

Now, according to a report in ETimes, the fallout seems to be the major reason behind Kartik Aaryan's ouster from the film. According to the report, Kartik did not want to work with Janhvi, so much that he suggested to director Collin D'Cunha that they should make something else instead of Dostana 2! He had even asked for Janhvi to be dropped from the project. He was also apparently ready to work for a lower fee, if Dharma offered him another project.Of course Karan Johar was not pleased with any of these, and took the decision of getting Kartik replaced, though it would significantly raise the budget of the film.

While these are purely rumours, we wonder if there would be any truth to it. Though losing Dostana 2 is a significant loss in Kartik's career graph, he does have some really interesting project lined up like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Dhamaka and Ala Vainkunthapurramuloo remake.
