It has been a sad day for several generations that grew up watching Maradona take over the football field. The legendary footballer passed away yesterday at the age of 60. He suffered a cardiac arrest on Wednesday and died. The legend was in the hospital since the beginning of November. Needless to say, it has been heartbreaking for a lot of football fans, all over the world, including some of our favourite BTown celebs. Early in November, Diego Maradona was hospitalised after he complained of constant fatigue. It was said that he had developed a blood clot in his brain, that had been successfully operated. He was also discharged from the hospital. But, on the early hours of Wednesday, the footballer suffered from a cardiac arrest and could not be revived. Rest inn peace and power, Diego Maradona!
